Alice Faye Hooper

On June 4, 2026, our beloved wife, mom and grandma, Alice Faye Hooper, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Faye was born to Paul and Wanda Newlin on January 5, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1959, her family moved to southern California where she graduated from Montclair High School in 1966. Shortly thereafter she would meet her husband, Morris Hooper. They were married on September 9, 1967. In 1971 they welcomed a son, Jeffrey followed by daughter Rebecca in 1975. In 1981, the family moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Faye was a devoted homemaker, prayer warrior, and servant of the Lord. One of Faye’s greatest sources of joy was her family, especially her six grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. She very rarely missed an opportunity to spend time with them attending as many birthdays, holidays, band concerts, sporting events, hiking excursions, and vacations as possible. For many years she served in the church nursery faithfully caring for generations of babies.

Faye is survived by her husband of 58 years, Morris. Her son Jeff (Amy), daughter Rebecca (Chris) and her six grandchildren, Cole, Kiara, Adeline, Kale, Ellie and Lillian.
