Alyce Decker Obituary

Alyce Elaine Decker, 55, was greeted by her family in heaven on March 27, 2025 in Klamath Falls. She was born in Lomita, California to William and Lillian Decker on May 10, 1969.

Alyce came to Klamath Falls in 1977. She graduated from Mazama High School in 1987, her education continued in the transition program until the age of 21. After completing the program, she worked in the community at Goodwill, REACH, the hospital, and other locations throughout the basin. Alyce was assisted in her community inclusion with the help of Southern Oregon Regional Brokerage [SORB], currently known as Connections.

For many years, Alyce enjoyed camping and traveling throughout California, Nevada, and Oregon with her family. In High School, Alyce developed an interest in the Worldwide Wrestling Federation [WWF], never missing a show throughout the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's and never lost her love of WWF or WWE. Alyce moved and grooved to the sounds of Michael Jackson, although she expanded her interest in genres of music as time went on. With her love of music, she was able to attend many community dances where the joy of music and sense of inclusion benefited everyone who attended. Alyce participated in Special Olympics Bowling for many years. She was thrilled by motorcycles and fast cars. Many times, Alyce would smile riding in her sister's Miata, with the top down, and the music loud!!

Alyce's life was full of love, laughter, and joy. She loved everyone and broke no hearts.

Alyce was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Alyce is survived by her sister, Mary, her nephew, David, cousins, and her beloved great nephews. She had a large extended family and special caregiver, Erica. A special acknowledgement of the new extended family, Juan and Vanessa.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to honor how Alyce has touched your life, volunteer or donate to the Special Olympics or a Special Education classroom near you.
