Anita Brandl Obituary

Anita Brandl, while surrounded by her family, passed away at her home on
February 27, 2024. Anita was born to Julio and Amalia Gonzales on July
22,1939 in Algoma, Oregon. She was 84. She grew up in Algoma in a
large, close-knit family with six brothers and one sister.

Anita graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1958. After having
four children and being a stay-at-home Mom, she went back to school at
Oregon Institute of Technology and received a bachelor’s degree in
radiologic technology. She worked as a registered X-Ray Tech at Merle
West Medical Center for many years.

In her retirement years she enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and
family, watching her grandkids play sports, getting out into nature,
especially walking with her girlfriends, and meeting up for coffee. She liked
to travel and especially loved talking about her cruise to Alaska and
spending time in Florida at Walt Disney World with her grandchildren. She
was able to make one last road trip in 2023 with her daughters to Arizona
where her mother had lived as a child. She had so much fun!

Anita was also passionate about sharing her Christian faith and the love of
God with others. Attending church on Sunday, going to bible study with
friends, and being a Sunday school teacher, was something she always
looked forward to and it brought her great joy.

Now that Anita has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on
earth is over, but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for
her.

John 3:16 ~ "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Anita is survived by her three brothers Charlie, Lonzi, and David Gonzales
and her three daughters, Rhonda Steele, Brenda Dole, and Rebecca
Quinowski. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren Chad Steele,
Ashley Quinowski, Lanie Quinowski, Whitney Weaver, Brittney Agard,
Peyton Dole, Jared Dole, and Morgan Dole and three great-grandchildren
Emily Sales, Cadin Case and Easton McGee.

She is preceded in death by her parents Julio and Amalia Gonzales, her
sister Rebecca Wilder, her brothers Daniel Gonzales, John Gonzales, Ben
Gonzales, and her only son, James David Wilson.

A memorial for Anita will be held in the summer and friends and family will
be notified.
