Beryl Jean Poe born October 5th, 1945, in Charleston, West Virginia. Passed July 13th, 2024, in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Jeanie, an unforgettable storyteller, touched many hearts with her caring nature. Her ability to weave tales and connect with others made her a cherished presence in her family and within her community at Pelican Pointe Assisted Living. She enjoyed making crafts, collecting dolls, and supporting military veterans. Jeanie’s warmth and kindness left a lasting mark. Despite the challenges she faced, Jeanie radiated kindness and acceptance to everyone, teaching us the true meaning of belonging.
As we honor her memory, we celebrate the stories she shared, the love she gave, and the friendships she nurtured. Jeanie’s legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. Preceded in death, (Father) Wayman Beryl Poe. (Mother) Ruth Poe Buckalew. (Brother) Wayman Allen Poe.
Jeanie departs from many family members near and far. She never missed an opportunity to share her gratefulness for her dedicated stepsister, Sandy (Buckalew) Young (Greg Young) of Oregon for selflessly taking care of her and her mother (Ruth) so they could live a life with dignity and respect. Jeanie was laid to rest next to her devoted mother, Ruth (Poe) Buckelew.
