Delilah Kay Murphy
“Heaven Gained Another Angel”
April 30, 1951-January 30, 2024
In loving memory of Delilah Kay Murphy, we announce her passing with heavy hearts. Delilah, a beloved
resident of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away on January 30, 2024, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of
72.
Born on April 30, 1951, to Marjorie M (Jackson) White and Dale G White, Delilah leaves a legacy of love,
kindness, and dedication. Delilah was a teacher, counselor, and sales clerk. Delilah found joy in life's
simple pleasures: traveling, gardening, swimming at the YMCA, and boating at Lake of the Woods. Her
greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Delilah is survived by her loving husband, James Murphy; her siblings, Robert White (Barbara White) and
Joann Perry (Dave Perry) and her children; Silvia (Morgan) Hansen, Laura Morgan, and Tauva Soto. She
also leaves numerous extended family members, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends who
will forever cherish her memory.
The Celebration of Life, in honor of Delilah, will be held at the LDS Mormon Church, 501 Martin St,
Klamath Falls, Oregon, at 1:00 pm on February 17, 2024. We invite all who knew and loved Delilah to
join us in commemorating her remarkable life and her impact on each of us.
