Donald Rohrbacker Obituary

Donald Clyde Rohrbacker passed away June 23, 2023. He was born in Hemet, California to Raymond and Linda Rohrbacker. They had four children, Paul, Michelle, Denise, and Donald. He had a brother Paul that passed away as an infant. He had two older sisters, Michelle, and Denise. They moved to Malin, Oregon when Donald was a young child and established a farm. There the children grew up with wonderful childhood memories of playing together with cousins. Donald as a child loved to be in the field with his family and said that it was fun for him. He spent countless hours working in the field growing hay, grain, and potatoes. He loved to hunt and fish with his family. They would use pack mules and hunt bear, cougar, deer, and elk; many times, missing school and doing the schoolwork in the woods.

He married Theresa Paschke until her passing with Multiple Sclerosis. He was close with her family Larry, May Ann, Deny, and Tim. Theresa and Donald liked Jackson Hole Wyoming and looking at the elk. He spoke fondly of this time in his life.

Donald met Charlotte and started a family. They loved to travel to Hawaii and enjoyed watching the waves and walking on the beaches. These trips were times to connect and relax from the busy farm world. Donald and Charlotte had Ray and Rachel, but he also took in Anthony and Kyle. He was happy to be an instant father and took them in as his own children. When the family had an event, he never missed an important moment. Donald was incredibly involved with the family and loved them. He enjoyed family trips, camping, fishing, and taking them to the field. As the children got older, he enjoyed hunting on Bull Ridge and Dixie Butte. He fished on the Rogue and Umpqua Rivers with family and friends. Donald would travel to Arizona every year to check on his daughter Rachel. He enjoyed spending time with the family and going to the grandkids ball games. He loved being in the garden and working with his flowers. He would sit outside in the afternoons and would watch Darth Vader, a hummingbird that would come every year. He looked at the stars at night and would read weather patterns to take care of crops and his garden.

Donald is preceded in death by his loving mother Linda, father Raymond, and brother Paul. He is survived by his wife Charlotte. Son Ray Rohrbacker and fiancé Terryn Frazier. Daughter Rachel Rohrbacker. Son Anthony Say and daughter-in-law Shelby Say, grandchildren Colter, Landon, and Haylin. Son Kyle Say and partner Nicole Easter.
