F. Mary Huitt, 63, went home to be with her creator on September 18th, 2023 surrounded by her children and close family. She was born on January 26th, 1960 to Walter Charles Huitt and F. Mary Ferris in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She attended several schools in the Klamath Falls area and graduated with her GED. Mary had several jobs through out her lifetime but her most important was being a homemaker and raising her babies and many others. She was a very proud Klamath Tribal member and in recent years found herself closer to her native culture. She will always be remembered for her kindness and unconditional love. She is survived by her children and their partners; Nikowa Mendez (Sean), Nikia Huitt (Nate), Juan Mendez (Megan), and Joseph Huitt (Christine), grandchildren; Devin Huitt-Kates, Aidan Kates, Landon Kates, Eddie Mendez, Reyna Mendez, McKenzie Mendez, Juan Mendez Jr, Romeo Mendez, Ilan Joyner ,and Natalya Joyner, and her very first great grand son Osiris; her nieces and nephews she helped raise; Elizabeth, Tiana, Mario, Sheena, Dion, and Skyler, sisters Lolita and Linda, plus numerous close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Wyatt, Ronnie, Major and Michael; and partners Zeke and Jake. A viewing will be held at Davenport’s Chapel 2680 Memorial Drive, Klamath Falls, OR on Thursday 9/28 from 1-3 pm and a memorial service will be held on 9/30 at 11am, goos oLi gowa, 35601 Choke Cherry Drive Chiloquin, OR.
