Gary Cantrell Obituary

Gary Lee Cantrell, 69 passed away October 5, 2024 in an ATV accident, while deer hunting. In Keno, Oregon.  Gary was born to Fred and Rose Cantrell in Pomona, California, August 29, 1955.

Gary met the love of his life Teresa when he was 15. He graduated from Central Valley High School in 1973, and started work the following Monday. He married Teresa 3 months later. Gary lived his life Bigger than life. He worked as hard as he played. Always balancing it with his family. He was passionate about hunting and spending time in the woods with his wife Teresa. He will always be remembered for his contagious laughter, quick wit, love of life, family, and friends.  

Gary was well known for his work with Pape` and Petersen over the years. He was one of the only, product and support salesman to achieve expert level/master elite for his dedication and commitment for product support excellence.

Survivors include his wife Teresa, daughter Milissa, sons, Jeremy and Justin. His sister Diane Martial, bother in law Donald Thurman. Multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren Ashely Hood (Allen) and Steven Allen, Joseph Hood, Hayden Cantrell, Jacob Jolly, Thomas and Trevor Summers. His great grandchildren from his oldest grandchild Ashley. Paetyn, Draevyn Siihaelah and Willow.

His family would also like to acknowledge Dena Westfall, Mike Stewart, and all his friends who he dearly loved, along with his Keno friends that brought so much joy to his life these past two years.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rose; brother, Fred and Scott Westfall. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
