Guy Turnage

Guy Turnage passed away on June 16, 2025 in La Quinta, California.  He was born on March 2, 1947 to Paul and Grace Turnage in Hayward, California.

He grew up in Fremont, California, graduating from Washington High School in 1965.  Guy graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree and then received a California Teaching certificate from the University of San Francisco.

He met his wife, Jean (Dalcour) when teaching in Roseburg, Oregon for two years.  They moved to Klamath Falls in 1976.  Together, they had an accounting and tax preparation business from 1979 until 2005.

Guy taught Sunday school for several years and was on the board of Hosanna Christian School at its beginning.

Beginning in the fall of 2005, they began spending winters in La Quinta, California.  Guy enjoyed the beauty of the desert and the warmth during the winter months.  Good friendships were developed during those years in the desert.

Guy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Turnage; son and daughter-in-law, William and Kelly Turnage; son and daughter-in-law, John and Sarah Turnage; grandchildren Clayton, Morgann, Eleanor and Julie Turnage.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Grace Turnage, and a brother Mark Turnage.

A celebration of life service will be held on August 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm at New Horizon Christian Fellowship at 1909 Homedale Road, Klamath Falls, Oregon.
