Harlan Dale Weise (91) passed away on March 5th, 2024, in Klamath Falls Oregon after a long illness.
Harlan was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on April 22, 1932, to Etta and Walter Weise. His family moved to Springfield Oregon in 1942. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Shirley A. Weise and 5 children Harlan G. Weise (Virginia), Edward W. Weise, Sherry Hayter (Tom), Robert J. Weise, Timothy A. Weise (Deanna), one brother Ronald Weise (Deena), 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by brothers Albert Weise (Lillian), Kenneth Weise (Edith), sister Arlene Coontz (Clyde).
Harlan was a Korean War Veteran (Navy).
Harlan was employed as a mechanic for Bly Logging, Newman & Crebbin Logging for 44 years up to his retirement in 1992.
They made several trips to Alaska, and he enjoyed salmon fishing out of Brookings Oregon.
Private family services will be held at Davenport’s Chapel of the Good Shepherd and will be interned at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
