It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Isaac Miller who departed from this world on July 20, 2024, at the age of 74, following a lengthy battle with cancer at his home in Klamath Falls, OR with loved ones and his best friend Muffin by his side. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in honoring a life well lived filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Harry was born on May 18, 1950, in Eureka, CA, son of the late Donald and Nettie Miller. He was the third oldest of nine children. He attended South Fork High School in Miranda, CA prior to joining the United States Army in August 1967 and finishing two tours in Vietnam. Once returning to the States he married Terry Lee Russell in March 1973 and they had two boys, Damon and Jerrid Miller. He worked at Louisiana Pacific Lumber in Alderpoint, CA prior to moving to Klamath Falls, OR and driving truck for Redwood Construction Logging and worked at Sam Wong and Son Trucking before starting his own business, Harry Miller Trucking which he ran until he retired. He always had a passion for the outdoors whether it be deer hunting with his boys or fishing the streams, lakes and taking his boat out on the ocean. His prankster personality and infectious laughter brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Harry is survived by his children, Damon (Roxanne) Miller of Hanford, CA and Jerrid (Julie) Miller of Klamath Falls, OR; grandchildren, Brendan Miller, Cheyenne Miller and Madison Miller, Dean Burkett and Justin Burkett; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Jeter, Harper and Jayden Burkett; sister, Diana Miller; brothers, Donald Miller and Micheal Miller; He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nettie Miller; brothers, Thomas Miller, Steven Miller and Ronald Miller; sisters, Gloria Miller and Donna Miller.
