Joan Marion Pratt

Joan Pratt from Lakeview, Oregon passed away on Tuesday September 19th, 2023 in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Joan was born on October 18th, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to George J. Hobart and Kathleen Hobart. She is survived by her three children, Leslie, Barb and Steve as well as her three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Bill Pratt, whom she was married to for 67 years. 

Joan and Bill enjoyed their winters on the Colorado river for many years and spent time skiing in McCall Idaho. They also traveled to Hawaii and Mexico to visit their daughters. 

While living out at Crane Creek in Lakeview, Oregon, Joan loved spending her time outside tending to her beautiful garden and enjoyed riding up the canyon with Bill on horseback. She had a love for animals, especially the many cats and dogs they had over the years. Joan also cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. There were many summers where her great grandchildren would come and stay at the farmhouse for a week of “summer camp”. 

At Joan’s request no services will be held. Any contributions in memory of Joan Pratt may be made to “The Animal House” located at 610 S 1st St, Lakeview, Oregon or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
