Joanne Marie McClurg, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Born on March 26, 1953, in the quaint town of Eastport, Maine.
Her life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. Joanne's heart found its match in her husband, Roger, whose memory she held close after his passing in 2019. Together, they built a life rich in joy and purpose, a legacy carried on by, Beth Riddle (married to Warren) and Stephen Randall. Joanne's love blossomed further with the arrival of her grandchildren, Shanea Lawver (married to Alison), Katelynn Randall, and Kaiden Randall, who became the apples of her eye. The family circle extended to her caring brother, Andy Mills (married to Marie), her loving sister, April Hartfield (married to Lee), and her steadfast brother, Jerry Mills, along with numerous nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.
Joanne's educational pursuits led her to explore the world of business. Her passion for beauty led her to open and run a successful beauty salon and tanning business.
With the arrival of her first grandchild, Joanne embraced a new role that would define her later years - that of a stay-at-home grandmother. She poured her energy and love into her grandchildren. Joanne's presence was a guiding light, her home a sanctuary of laughter and learning.
A lover of the outdoors, Joanne found solace and excitement in the embrace of nature. Her interests in hunting, fishing, camping, and visiting the coast were more than hobbies; Joanne's tales of the wilderness were not just stories but reflections of a life lived fully.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Roger (in 2019) and her granddaughter, Katelynn (in 2022).
