Judith Ann Bates

Born on October 10, 1940, in the quaint town of Nineveh, Pennsylvania, Judy's journey through life was marked by her spirited nature, creative flair, and analytical mind. She departed peacefully in Klamath Falls, Oregon, after a brave battle with acute on chronic systolic congestive heart failure.

     Judy's early years in Nineveh laid the foundation for a life of intellectual curiosity and a love for the outdoors. As a young woman, she pursued higher education with vigor, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting that would serve her well in her professional endeavors. Judy's career was a testament to her multifaceted talents; she was both a meticulous accountant and a vibrant hair stylist, roles that allowed her to express her analytical prowess and her creative spirit.

     In her personal life, Judy shared a profound and enduring love with her late husband, Jack Bates. Together they navigated the joys and challenges of life, their bond remaining steadfast until Jack's passing. Judy's role as a mother was characterized by unwavering support and love for her children. She experienced the grief of losing her sons, Todd and Micheal Schena, but found solace in the presence of her devoted daughter, Laura Devries, who survives her.
