Larry Paul McMinn

Larry Paul McMinn passed away in McMinnville Oregon, on May 11th, 2024 at the age of 72.

Larry  was born February 11th, 1952 to David and Blanche McMinn, in Alturas California.

 He graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1971. Soon after graduation he moved to Salem Oregon, then to McMinnville Oregon, where he lived for the rest of his life. 

Larry loved to travel, to Klamath Falls to visit family, to the Coast on day trips, or to Hawaii for long trips. He loved football, loved the Oregon Ducks, and the Seattle Seahawks, along with most all other sports.

 He was an avid reader, and liked Stephen King novels. He also participated in the Oregon Special Olympics.

Larry is preceded in death by Father, David McMinn. Mother, Blanche McMinn. Sister, Patricia Brumback. Brothers, Wayne and Jerry McMinn. Nephew, Joseph Sowers. 

Larry is survived by his sister Teresa Sowers, his nephews Duane Newnham (Cindy), Tim Newnham (Katy).

Larry was a great guy, always happy, always willing to try new things. He was adventurous, and never met anyone that wasn’t a friend.

Larry will have a graveside service at Klamath Memorial Park, Friday May 24th at 1:00 pm. Davenport Chapel of the Good Shepherd is in charge of arrangements.
