Linnie Lavanis DeLozier

Linnie Delozier of Dorris, California, was born January 3rd, 1951 in Fresno, California. Linnie went home to be with the Lord on August 17th, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She was 74 years old, she kept her faith in God until the very end.  She lived in Dorris most of her adult life.  She moved away a few times for a brief period of time, but always found her way back to Dorris.  Dorris is the place that she called home. 

She is proceeded in death by her father, Floyd Delozier, Mother, Ethel Sloat, brothers, Larry Delozier, and Sonny Harris, sister Dale Manley, and her son Paul Young.  Linnie is survived by her sister, Bonnie King of Idaho, brother-in-law, Larry Manely of Dorris, CA, children Sherri Young, of Dorris CA, Mark and Traci Young, of Klamath Falls OR. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she will be truly missed by her family and many friends that she loved.

A public graveside service will be held September 6th at the Picard cemetery @ 10:30 am  in Dorris, CA. There will be a potluck reception after the graveside service at the Dorris Park, 327 S Oregon Street (Old Park), Dorris, California.
