Lola Lavell (Mikesell) Vickers

Lola passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86, with her family by her side.  Lola was born on June 25, 1939, to Vernard James and Opal Beatrice Mikesell in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  She lived in Klamath Falls all her life, attending school here and working at various places in town.  In 1955, Lola married James Stephens and had 4 children.  Later in life, she married Robert Vickers and remained with him until his passing in 2006.  She was an amazing cook and an even better baker, making homemade treats for everyone every Christmas.  She always had a big smile and kind word for everyone, and you were a very lucky person if you had the chance to get to know her.  Her family will remember her warm spirit and generous nature, and will miss her dearly.  Lola is survived by her daughter, Eunice Holmes, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, as well as 2 sons-in-law and one bonus grandson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vickers, her daughters, Rose Morad and Teresa VanHaarlem, and her only son Bud.   She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Mikesell and Lee Mikesell, James Stephens, and her granddaughter, Tammy.   At her request, there will be no services held.
