Marian Joyce Wilde (Ruis) was born on April 19, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to
Earl and Emily McAllister. She passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025 at the age
of 94.
She was married to Marvin Ruis and together they raised four children: Greg, Roger,
Brad, and Pam. In 2009 she moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon to be closer to her
children, a decision that brought her great joy and many cherished moments.
She was a loving and kind-hearted woman who made friends easily and kept them for
life. She especially loved crocheting and playing rummy with her friends. One of her
greatest joys was when her boys and grand- and great-grandchildren came to visit, and
she treasured the time spent with her daughter Pam, who shared many special
moments with her. She was also well known- and fondly remembered- for her delicious
peanut brittle, which she generously shared with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Ruis; her brothers Earl, Roland, and
Jack; and her sister Joanne.
She is survived by her sisters Ruth and Shirley; her children Greg (Anne), Roger, Brad
(Michelle), and Pamela (Bill); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-
great-granddaughter, as well as many, many good friends who will miss her dearly.
She was deeply loved, and her kindness, warmth, and love for family will never be
forgotten. We will miss her greatly, and we will always love her “more”.
