Maureen Louise Herrera

Maureen Louise Herrera, 62 went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2024 in her home with family by her side. She was born on April 11, 1962 to the late Ramon “Porky” Jimenez and Peggy Jimenez.

As a youth, she enjoyed horseback riding, basketball and volleyball. In her teen years, her parents supported their daughters by traveling as a family for rodeos and athletics. She got married in 1981 and was a devoted mother to her two children and enjoyed being a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ramon “Porky” Jimenez and Peggy Jimenez. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Fernando Herrera and her two children Alveda Mathis and Alyson Herrera, grandchildren, Kaden and Delana Mathis, sisters, Vonda Wewa (Jerry Wewa), Rhonda Greene (Michael Greene), Doreen Jimenez, Wanda Jimenez and numerous family from the Henthorne and Jimenez side, notably Donna Weiser, Shari Brown and Sissy Foster. Uncles and aunt, Modesto Jimenez, Linda Jimenez, Allen “Punchy” Jimenez.

The family would like to especially thank Lucy and Elizabeth from Klamath Hospice and the staff for their compassion and care they showed her and the family.

Last wishes were for a private cremation and no funeral services.
