Modesto "Moe" Winton Jimenez JR left this world and entered Heaven's gate on May 30 2025. He was 88 years old and lived in Klamath Falls most of his life, except for a short time living Ashland, OR. While going to college and a short time living in Portland OR (he did not care for the city life).
He was born to Lena (Lotches), Klamath tribal member, and Modesto Jimenez Sr. on March 8th, 1937, at Klamath Agency Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lena and Modesto Sr., 1st wife, Beverly, and 2nd wife Judy: brothers, Billy Lotches, Morris Jimenez, Porky (Ramon) Jimenez, brother-in-law Lynn Schonchin: Sister, Toni (Madaline) Townsend, Grandson, Temo (Antelmo) Jimenez. Granddaughter in law/Connie Martinez. Grandson in law/John Mitchell.
He is survived by his daughters: Sherri Alvarado and Kelli Campagna/ son in law, Donald Campagna. His younger brother, " Uncle Punchy," Allen Jimenez. Sister, Linda Jimenez, several nieces and nephews and their families, and a very dear friend, Rod Clark.
Sherri's children/ Grandchildren: John and Melissa Rivera w/3 great -grandsons, Noah, and family with 1 great -great grandson, Conner and family and Joseph. Granddaughter, Te'ah and Kean Tupper w/ Great -granddaughter Eleada Rivera & Diego Velasco, 1 great -great granddaughter Sophia and 1 great-great grandson, Monty, Great grand-daughter Spirit, and Great great grandson, Chadow Rivera, Great grandson, Ruben Martinez and family, with 1 great-great granddaughter. Grand-daughter, Celica Barrera Jimenez with 1 great granddaughter, Miranda Jimenez, (Mimi), 2 great grandsons, Aden Jimenez and David Jimenez. Grand-daughter Angelica (Angie) Jimenez with 1 great- granddaughter: Anyssa Jimenez. 2 great grand sons , Destin and Salvador Jimenez, Beatrice Jimenez and Saul Zavala, 1 great granddaughter, Brianna Jimenez and 2 great grandsons, Rudy Jimenez and Saul Zavala Jr Jimenez. Grandson Samuel Jimenez.
Kelli and Donald's Children: Grandson, Donnie Campagna Jr./ great grandsons, Tallen and great granddaughter, Neala Campagna. Bear Campagna/ great grandson, Sage Campagna Great Granddaughter and Great Grandson Demaya Martinez and great great granddaughters, Aniah and Miah. Granddaughter, Shauna Campagna , great grandsons, Modesto "Desto" Campagna, Todd Campagna, great granddaughter, Malaya Campagna and her partner Troy Olmer, 4 great great granddaughters, Kelli , Ezmarelda, Zhavia and Layauna, Leauna Campagna Wright/great granddaughter, and partner Brandon Mccarly, 2 great great grandsons/ Sekani and Khalili Wright, great Granddaughters, Beverly and Perslianna Campagna, Granddaughter, Cassandra Campagna Mitchell, 2 great great granddaughters, Italee and Lilliona.
Moe was well known for his love of sports, was well known as "Mighty Moe" during High School sports and was a coach, referee for football, basketball, and baseball throughout his younger years. He worked for Williams Bakery as the "bread man" for 30 years. He was awarded a cash bonus and plaque for never missing a day of work for 30 years. Moe was on the KADA board off and on for several years and served 2 full terms as "Vice Tribal Chairman" for the Klamath Tribes and 1 term as "member at large".
Service officiant: will be Crayton Jackson for Moe and Steiger Butte will be the drummer, on Sunday June 22, 2025, at 11:00 am, at The Community Fitness Center, 320 S. Chiloquin Blvd. Chiloquin, OR 97624. Followed by a Potluck meal at the Fitness Center. It was Modesto's wishes to have his remains spread in a private ceremony with family at a later date. Dad/Moe was a very "kind and loving man" and will be missed dearly by his whole family and a community of friends.
