It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Muriel Jean Singer, age 87, on June 4, 2025. Muriel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.
Muriel dedicated her life to education, teaching elementary school in the Pasadena School district for over 20 years. She was a proud graduate of Pasadena College and continued to inspire and educate young minds throughout her career. Muriel was also a devoted wife to her husband Bert Singer for 37 years, and together they built a successful business in Klamath Falls, OR.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Muriel was a generous friend, faithful church-woman, and a pillar of her community. She served in various leadership roles at Klamath Falls First Presbyterian Church and was known for her kind and giving spirit.
Muriel's hobbies included reading, travel, hosting friends for dinner, music, and sewing. She cherished time spent with her family and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Muriel is survived by her four children and their spouses: Murray and Marge, Craig and Debbie, Penelope and Tim, and David and Carol as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Muriel's life will be held at Klamath Falls First Presbyterian Church on August 1, 2025 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in her memory. Rest in peace, Muriel, you will always be remembered and cherished.
