Consider The Rose ~ By Don Doelling

Consider the rose as it grows, how we can liken it to humanity.  A miracle for sure, when one thinks of it, overcoming great adversities.  But overcome, it did, through changing weather, blight and drought; yes, even pestilence.

Consider the rose as it grows, how it leaves and stems of thorns are unbending, yet it yields a beautiful flower, unique from all the rest, as testimony of God's perfect creation.

Yet, aren't we like that rose as we go through life, tossed to and fro by our own demise and strife, not realizing that it was God who gave us this life to use and cherish according to His perfect will?

When man can come to realize this one great truth in life, then he can become that perfect rose that God intended him to be, so all mankind can see God's perfect harmony shining our for all to enjoy and see.

Consider the rose of life.
