Nancy Sexton Obituary

Nancy Jean Sexton, 88, went to be with her Lord at her home in Silverton, Oregon, on June 12, 2026, with her family by her side. Nancy was born on July 6,1937 in Cassville, Missouri, to B. M. and Mary Antle. The family moved to Oregon in 1944 where they lived and worked at Weyerhaeuser Camp 4. During her eighth-grade year they moved to West Klamath. Nancy attended all four years of high school at Klamath Union, graduating in 1955. She met Jack Lee Sexton during her senior year of high school, and they were married June 10,1956. They celebrated 70 years of marriage just before her passing. Nancy held several jobs over the years, mostly secretarial. In 1976 she and Jack started Klamath Custom Butchering and in 1983 they expanded their business, brought their son Scott in as a partner, and ran Country Boy Meats for the next 20 years. She and Jack moved to Silverton, Oregon in 2012, where she spent the remainder of her life. Nancy is survived by her husband Jack, son Scott Sexton, Silverton, OR, son Bret (Gail) Sexton, Harrisonville, MO, daughter Penny (Bruce) Emery, Silver Lake, OR, brother John (Dixie) Antle, Portland, OR, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Nancy was preceded in death by both her parents and her sister Debra Kay Froemke. A celebration of life will be held for Nancy at Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Tuesday June 23, 2026, at 10:00 am.
