Pattie was born to Hazel and Earl Brown of Bonanza, Oregon. She was the third youngest of eleven children. She grew up on the family farm on Bonanza; graduating from high school in 1949. She then married Orville Dalton and they had a son. Orville was killed in an industrial accident in 1950.
In December of 1951 she married Vernon Newlun of Klamath Falls, Oregon. They had four children and in 1964 they bought a house and land in Dairy. She was a loving stay at home mom until all her kids graduated from Bonanza High School. She started working as a reading aide at Bonanza school until she retired in 1990, after twenty years.
She and Vernon enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with family and many friends until Vernon's passing in 2021. She remained living in Dairy, cherishing her time with her kids, grand kids, great grand kids, and other family members and friends.
She is survived by sons Gary Dalton and Ken Newlun, daughters Pam Newlun and Lynette (Jon) Flores, grand children Scott (Trina) Dalton, Rachelle (Jake) Greer, Erick (Cecelia) Vieira, Angela (Jake) McGarvey, Tiffany Chaires and Tasha (Mike) Miles. She is also survived by numerous great grand children, great great grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Vernon, daughter, Kathy Biglin, her parents and all or her siblings.
There will be no service; just a small private family gathering.
