Patrick Joseph Noonan

Patrick Joseph Noonan, Sr. died Monday, August 1,2022 of natural causes in Klamath Falls. He
was 61. Born August 24, 1960, he is the eldest son of William D. Noonan & Rosemarie B.
Noonan, both of whom preceded him in death. Known as “Pat” to his friends & family, he had
an insurance agency for many years, sold the spectrum of health, life & casualty insurance
throughout his career, as well as raised sheep and alfalfa hay. Pat was a graduate of Henley
High School (1978) and Oregon State University (1982).

He is well known within Klamath County
Catholic Churches as he attended daily mass, choosing to rotate between Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel, Chiloquin, Sacred Heart and St. Pius the Xth, Klamath Falls. During the last 8-9 months
of his life, he regularly attended St. Augustine, Merrill. Pat was also a member of the Knights of
Columbus and prayed the rosary fervently.

Pat is survived by two sons, Patrick J. Noonan, Jr.
(age 35) and Stephen L. Noonan (age 26). He has one grandson, Leyton Noonan (age 6). Other
survivors include: Helen (Walsh) Noonan (daughter-in-law); sisters & brothers-in-law: Helen
Noonan-Harnsberger & Alan Harnsberger; Theresa & David Cowan; Mary Noonan-Williams &
Gary Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael & Karin Noonan; and Matthew & Deborah
Noonan. In addition, he is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and three
aunts.

Services to celebrate & honor Pat’s life will be on Thursday, August 11th at St. Augustine
Catholic Church in Merrill, Oregon. Services will begin at 10:30 AM with Recitation of the Holy
Rosary, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A fellowship luncheon will be
held immediately following the services. Final interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic
Cemetery, 1:30 pm.
