Paula Otillea Heinrich

Paula Heinrich passed away on February 26, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Hanau, Germany in 1933, the 2nd of 10 children. She married Ronald K Heinrich in Germany in 1957, and lived the life of an Army wife, moving to the US in 1959 and residing in Washington DC, Wisconsin, Texas, and Hawaii, before settling in Merrill, Oregon – where she raised her family, cultivated a beautiful flower garden, and worked until her retirement in 1995. She then moved to Montana where she spent several years living with her sister and exploring that state before returning to Klamath Falls.

She is survived by her children,William (Eva) and Patricia (John), her granddaughter Ashley, her sister Erna, and her nephews Rick and Randy. She is also survived by her good friend Daniele.

Paula was independent to the end and will be remembered as a strong lady and a good friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She did not want a service, but if you would like to honor her memory, please plant some flowers this spring or take some time to feed the ducks – two activities she enjoyed.
