Robert Everett Streed, Senior  79 years old and a resident of Dorris, Calif, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025.   Robert was born in Dorris, Calif. on July 31, 1945 to Everett and Elizabeth “Jackie” (Sears) Streed.  He graduated from Butte Valley High School in 1963.

He worked as a farmer/rancher most of his life until he retired in 2013.   He married Betty Streed on April 12, 1969 in Reno, Nevada and the couple were married for 43 years and welcomed two children, Kimberly  in 1970 and Robert Everett, Jr. in 1978.

Robert enjoyed hunting and working as an elk guide on the family ranch. He was well known for his great story telling abilities. 

He is survived by his son, Robert Streed, Jr, Dorris, California, his daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Ron Harris, Underwood, WA, grandsons: Kevin (Camisha Cripe)  Harris, Kaiden Harris, Colt Bruner-Streed, Coay Streed and Aiden Streed, brothers: Fred (Marta) and Richard (Diana) Streed,  sister Margie Keffer and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty,  parents and his brother Larry Streed. Robert was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with a potluck reception  will be held on June 14, 2025 at 3 pm at the Butte Valley Community Center in Dorris, California
