Sheryl Depuy Obituary

It is with sincere empathy and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sheryl LEA Depuy who was summond by the Lord on March 24th, 2026 to serve as an angel.

She passed peacefully at the young age of 62 with immediate family by her side. Sheryl was born on October 1st, 1963 in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Sheryl was quite a generous humble person who treasured time spent with family, good friends and caring for her pets. She had various hobbies and truly loved nature, outdoor activities and especially gardening. She now has a wealth of time to tend to her garden in heaven.

She lived a life defined not only by her love for family, but by the profound remarkable loving, caring and compassionate person that she was who touched many lives.

Sheryl spent over 26 years working in the healthcare field as a caregiver. She took great pride and dedicated herself to providing the best care possible to each individual. She worked with various clients, each with separate or special needs, providing personal assistance, crucial support and companionship she considered a passion, noting that,”Everybody needs help sometime in their life and I’m glad I can be there to help them so they maintain a quality of life and their dignity”.

She was preceded in death by her father, John S. Depuy; her mother, Denise Depuy; her sister, Terri Meek.

She is survived by her beloved life partner, Ron Burkett; her children, Lenaha Day, Sheila Azevedo, and Jonathon Azevedo. She has 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her sisters, Vicki Goeglin and Mary Couch. She also has 5 nephews.

She will always be remembered in our thoughts and will forever be with us in our hearts.

Sheryl’s wish was for trees to be planted in remembrance of her to help our environment and bring beauty into this world.
